Ocean Beaches are about 10 miles away. Boat docking facilities, rental boats, fishing and crabbing in local waters and other recreational water sports are all available nearby. The area has many public and private golf courses, as well as county and municipal parks.
Ocean County Mall is within a 10 minute drive, and the area has an abundance of major discount, grocery and specialty stores. Restaurants in all price ranges can be found in close proximity. Each homeowner association provides local bus transportation for shopping, and Ocean County provides transportation for various medical & personal appointments as well as shopping.
The communities are deed restricted, and residents must adhere to the rules and regulations of their homeowner association. Purchasers must be 55 years of age, and all permanent residents must be over 18 years of age. Your home and land are owned outright, which is known as Fee Simple ownership. Purchasers must register with and provide proof of age to the homeowner association prior to closing.
All homes are served by municipal sewers and water, with underground utilities, paved streets, curbs, storm sewers, street lighting and individual paved driveways.

Holiday City – Berkeley
Holiday City Carefree
Holiday City Heights

SILVER RIDGE PARK
The adult communities of Silver Ridge Park consist of four separate communities, each with its own homeowner association and amenities. These are:

Silver Ridge Park Westerly Silver Ridge Park North
Each community has a clubhouse with numerous activities, and each provides bus service to local shopping areas. Silver Ridge Park Westerly and Silver Ridge Park North have in-ground pools at their clubhouses. Dues range from $10 to $18 per month.
All homes are single-story ranch style on a crawl space, each with attached garage and situated on 60 by 100 foot lots. Floor plans vary considerably, and prices range from $80,000 to $300,000 depending on model, location, age and condition.
The Silver Ridge Communities differ from most other retirement communities in that each homeowner maintains his own grounds. There are many local landscapers available for those who prefer not to do the work themselves, and some homes have stone landscaping, eliminating the need for lawn maintenance.
The builder of Silver Ridge Park homes has earned a reputation for his quality homes with customized features in a park-like setting.
